For borrowers wrongly branded and excluded by an unfair system
For those publicly humiliated and stripped of their self-respect
Against digital surveillance and financial discrimination
Poster, drum-beating, and neighborhood shaming target borrowers
Denied loans, jobs and housing with no chance to recover
The current credit system in India has silently turned into a weapon of humiliation and exclusion. Even “Few Missed EMI & Delayed Payments Would Erase Your Future.” Instead of helping, we have a System that Humiliates Borrowers. Even One Financial Setback would Destroy a Lifetime of Credibility.
Once you default or delay a payment, all banks uniformly block access to all credit facilities, overdrafts, and even other basic financial services—without assessing your genuine circumstances.
Your name, photo, and default details are published in leading English & local language newspapers, and in many cases, public announcements (like drum-beating) are made in your locality to shame and isolate you.
Credit Information Companies permanently label you as “Not Creditworthy,” making borrowers “Financially Paralysed” for infinity by cutting off all access to future financial support from any bank or financial institution across India.
The entire financial ecosystem—banks, NBFCs, and fintech platforms—treat genuine borrowers like social outcasts, without giving them any chance of redemption or reform
Digital lenders and fintech apps intrusively monitor your phone activity, contacts, messages, and location, violating privacy and using this data for coercion and harassment.
You are flagged and blacklisted across databases, apps, and internal systems, facing algorithmic discrimination that denies you any second chance—ever.
You are denied respect, dignity, and compassion, and reduced to a derogatory status that permanently tarnishes your social and financial identity.
Credit reports are misused by employers, landlords to systematically deny you a job, a house, or any bank facility —even if you are not a fraudster. These days, even many matrimonial websites access these details to check on creditworthiness of the prospective grooms & brides.
Ongoing negative reporting, social media defamation, and repeated labeling ensure you are never able to bounce back in life or rebuild your financial reputation.
The system does not differentiate between willful defaulters and those in genuine crisis—everyone is criminalized without a hearing or human consideration.
Private financial data is leaked, shared, and misused without consent, violating your fundamental right to privacy guaranteed under Article 21 of the Constitution.
Continuous harassment, threats, and public humiliation lead to mental health issues, family breakdowns, and sometimes even suicides.
Borrowers have no effective forum or legal framework to challenge wrongful reporting, blacklisting, or reputational damage caused by banks and credit bureaus.
Despite policies on financial inclusion, distressed borrowers are routinely excluded from benefits, subsidies, or relief schemes designed for the economically weaker.
Those who openly admit their financial troubles and try to work with lenders are often treated worse than those who run away or cheat the system
But we at Justice for Credit Borrowers, refuse to stay silent. We will not allow this injustice to continue any further. This is more than a fight—this is a movement. A movement for truth, fairness, and the right to be heard. This is your voice. Your battle. Your justice.
For borrowers wrongly branded as a defaulter
For those humiliated by financial institutions
From digital surveillance and discrimination
Restoring access to finical ecosystem
The system is broken and brutally unjust. Borrowers deserve justice, not punishment. It punishes without justice, excludes without mercy, and crushes dignity. Public shaming. Digital exclusion, Banking discrimination- Enough is enough!. We’re here to change that.aThe system is broken and brutally unjust. Borrowers deserve justice, not punishment. The system has failed you. But you are not alone. We stand with the Millions of Indians who deserve fairness, privacy, and a chance to recover without being crushed by the system.
A few missed EMIs or delayed payments should not condemn someone to lifelong exclusion from the banking credit system. Yet, today’s financial institutions blacklists & turn responsible citizens into “Untouchables” treating them as criminals—even after recovering every penny of principal and interest till the last day & last minute.
How fair is this to be punished indefinitely for struggling through adverse circumstances & yet making all the payments & interests? Should the past financial hardship dictate a person’s present & future, limiting opportunities and dignity? This is more than a systemic failure—it’s an injustice.
A temporary financial hardship—whether caused by a medical emergency, business loss, economic downturn, loss of employment, or even an act of God—should not condemn responsible citizens to lifelong exclusion.
Yet, the current banking and financial ecosystem, led by credit bureaus, brand these individuals as criminals. Not only are they blacklisted, but they are relentlessly vilified, treated as “untouchables” and outcasts for eternity, with their financial struggles weaponized against them.
Is it such a heinous crime to have defaulted due to difficult circumstances? Does a late payment justify a lifetime sentence of financial discrimination?
To reduce NPAs and appease higher-ups, many bank managers trap & lure struggling borrowers into deceptive “Settlement” and “Closure” schemes—trapping them into a system designed to bury them forever.
These hapless borrowers, often forced into settlements under relentless pressure from recovery agents, make full payments—with minimal discounts—by exhausting every possible avenue, including borrowing from friends, liquidating assets, or making extreme financial sacrifices. They do so in good faith, hoping to rebuild their financial stability, only to be permanently blacklisted and excluded from the banking system.
But instead of relief, they are permanently marked as criminals in the banking ecosystem—a sentence of lifelong exclusion, economic suffocation, and financial disgrace – Literally an economic death sentence.
This is not justice. This is systemic exploitation.
We stand to protect the dignity, rights, and future of a Billion Citizens from exploitation, discrimination, and public shaming by Banks, Credit Bureaus, and Financial Institutions.
We demand a fair and ethical financial system—one that Uplifts instead of punishes.
