An Initiative of “SuryaShakthi Foundation” an NGO

An NGO registered as a Non-Profit Organisation under Section 8 of the Companies Act, 2013

Welcome to a movement born out of pain, fuelled by truth, and driven by the unwavering pursuit of justice. For years, millions of credit borrowers across India have been subjected to systemic injustice—vilified, humiliated, and excluded by a financial and legal ecosystem that often punishes without due process, compassion, or accountability.

Justice for Credit Borrowers, an initiative of “Surya Shakthi Foundation” an NGO is a platform that stands as a voice for the voiceless, a shield for the wronged, and a call to action for every citizen who believes in fairness, dignity, and constitutional rights. We stand as a powerful voice for those who have been silenced—entrepreneurs, individuals, and families crushed under the weight of unjust practices, public shaming, and digital discrimination.

We are not just raising our voices—we are invoking the law, igniting awareness, and demanding reform. It’s time to end financial discrimination, restore the dignity of genuine borrowers, and build a just system where accountability, transparency, and humanity prevail.

We challenge the unchecked powers of banks, credit bureaus, and fintech players who misuse technology, weaponize credit scores, and violate privacy with impunity.

It’s time to rise, to question, and to reform. We are here to challenge a broken system, expose systemic abuse, and demand accountability. This is more than a movement—it’s a mission to restore dignity, human rights, and justice for credit borrowers from various Banks & Financial institutions across the country. The time for silence is over. The fight begins now & here!

Default is Not a Crime.
Failure is Not Permanent or Intentional!
One financial setback shouldn’t destroy your Rights, Dignity & your Future.

Millions of honest borrowers in India are being Neglected, Branded, Humiliated and Erased from the financial system—simply because they made delayed payment. Banks, Credit Bureaus, and Fintech giants have turned financial distress into social punishment, treating borrowers who have made late payments like hardened criminals.

We are trying to Restore the Borrowers Rights, Dignity, their Future and Reform the System. No one deserves to be branded, humiliated, or erased from the banking system. We refuse to accept this injustice. It’s time to Fight Back & Protect the Rights of Credit Borrowers across this Country.

Our Fight

The credit system has turned borrowers into untouchables – blacklisted, bullied and branded.
We’re to end the cruelty, exclusion and silence.

Justice

For borrowers wrongly branded and excluded by an unfair system

Dignity

For those publicly humiliated and stripped of their self-respect

Protection

Against digital surveillance and financial discrimination

The Crisis We Face

India’s credit system punishes honest borrowers with public shaming, digital blacklisting and
exclusion from opportunities treating them like criminals instead of citizens in crisis.

Public Humiliation

Poster, drum-beating, and neighborhood shaming target borrowers

Digital Black listing

Credit bureaus label, borrowers
” Unworthy” blocking access to finance

Systemic Exclusion

Denied loans, jobs and housing with no chance to recover

The current credit system in India has silently turned into a weapon of humiliation and exclusion. Even “Few Missed EMI & Delayed Payments Would Erase Your Future.” Instead of helping, we have a System that Humiliates Borrowers. Even One Financial Setback would Destroy a Lifetime of Credibility.

Honest Borrowers Facing Financial Hardship are Being Systematically Crushed

Blacklisted Nationwide by All Banks

Once you default or delay a payment, all banks uniformly block access to all credit facilities, overdrafts, and even other basic financial services—without assessing your genuine circumstances.

Public Shaming through Newspapers & Neighborhood Humiliation

Your name, photo, and default details are published in leading English & local language newspapers, and in many cases, public announcements (like drum-beating) are made in your locality to shame and isolate you.

Branded as “Unworthy” by Credit Bureaus

Credit Information Companies permanently label you as “Not Creditworthy,” making borrowers “Financially Paralysed” for infinity by cutting off all access to future financial support from any bank or financial institution across India.

Treated as Financial 'Untouchables'

The entire financial ecosystem—banks, NBFCs, and fintech platforms—treat genuine borrowers like social outcasts, without giving them any chance of redemption or reform

Digitally Tracked and Trapped by Fintech Companies

Digital lenders and fintech apps intrusively monitor your phone activity, contacts, messages, and location, violating privacy and using this data for coercion and harassment.

Subjected to Digital Discrimination & Lifetime Blacklisting

You are flagged and blacklisted across databases, apps, and internal systems, facing algorithmic discrimination that denies you any second chance—ever.

Branded Publicly as Defaulters, Denied Fundamental Dignity

You are denied respect, dignity, and compassion, and reduced to a derogatory status that permanently tarnishes your social and financial identity.

Denied Loans, Jobs, Housing & Economic Opportunities

Credit reports are misused by employers, landlords to systematically deny you a job, a house, or any bank facility —even if you are not a fraudster. These days, even many matrimonial websites access these details to check on creditworthiness of the prospective grooms & brides.

Vilification Campaigns That Destroy Lives

Ongoing negative reporting, social media defamation, and repeated labeling ensure you are never able to bounce back in life or rebuild your financial reputation.

No Distinction Between Fraud and Distress

The system does not differentiate between willful defaulters and those in genuine crisis—everyone is criminalized without a hearing or human consideration.

Denied the Right to Privacy & Confidentiality

Private financial data is leaked, shared, and misused without consent, violating your fundamental right to privacy guaranteed under Article 21 of the Constitution.

Subjected to Psychological Trauma and Social Stigma

Continuous harassment, threats, and public humiliation lead to mental health issues, family breakdowns, and sometimes even suicides.

No Legal Recourse or Mechanism for Appeal

Borrowers have no effective forum or legal framework to challenge wrongful reporting, blacklisting, or reputational damage caused by banks and credit bureaus.

Excluded from Government Schemes & Financial Inclusion

Despite policies on financial inclusion, distressed borrowers are routinely excluded from benefits, subsidies, or relief schemes designed for the economically weaker.

Punished for Transparency, Honesty & Cooperation

Those who openly admit their financial troubles and try to work with lenders are often treated worse than those who run away or cheat the system

But we at Justice for Credit Borrowers, refuse to stay silent. We will not allow this injustice to continue any further. This is more than a fight—this is a movement. A movement for truth, fairness, and the right to be heard. This is your voice. Your battle. Your justice.

Borrowers in financial distress are being punished, not protected. The system makes no distinction between deliberate fraud and genuine failure. Every defaulter is condemned—without trial, without compassion, without due process. Honest citizens are being shamed, silenced, and stripped of dignity for falling on hard times.

Our Mission

We stand for every borrower who has been shamed, sidelined or neglected.
Our mission is to challenge a system that punishes without fairness, restore dignity and ensure a second chance for all.

Justice

For borrowers wrongly branded as a defaulter

Dignity

For those humiliated by financial institutions

Protection

From digital surveillance and discrimination

Inclusion

Restoring access to finical ecosystem

The System is Broken. We are Fixing It.

The system is broken and brutally unjust. Borrowers deserve justice, not punishment. It punishes without justice, excludes without mercy, and crushes dignity. Public shaming. The system has failed you. But you are not alone. We stand with the Millions of Indians who deserve fairness, privacy, and a chance to recover without being crushed by the system.

No more blacklisting

No more bullying

No more branding

It’s time for Justice!

Because financial distress should not lead to public shame or permanent exclusion. The system shows no empathy. It treats honest borrowers as criminals. It neglects their rights. And it blocks their future. Credit bureaus, banks, and fintech giants have created a system that dehumanizes defaulters — branding them unworthy, blocking them from the financial system, and subjecting them to relentless humiliation. We’re here to stop that.

Join the Movement. Demand Justice.

A few missed EMIs or delayed payments should not condemn someone to lifelong exclusion from the banking credit system. Yet, today’s financial institutions blacklists & turn responsible citizens into “Untouchables” treating them as criminals—even after recovering every penny of principal and interest till the last day & last minute.

How fair is this to be punished indefinitely for struggling through adverse circumstances & yet making all the payments & interests? Should the past financial hardship dictate a person’s present & future, limiting opportunities and dignity? This is more than a systemic failure—it’s an injustice.

Stop Turning Innocent Citizens into Criminals

A temporary financial hardship—whether caused by a medical emergency, business loss, economic downturn, loss of employment, or even an act of God—should not condemn responsible citizens to lifelong exclusion.

Yet, the current banking and financial ecosystem, led by credit bureaus, brand these individuals as criminals. Not only are they blacklisted, but they are relentlessly vilified, treated as “untouchables” and outcasts for eternity, with their financial struggles weaponized against them.

Is it such a heinous crime to have defaulted due to difficult circumstances? Does a late payment justify a lifetime sentence of financial discrimination?

The Exploitation Must End

To reduce NPAs and appease higher-ups, many bank managers trap & lure struggling borrowers into deceptive “Settlement” and “Closure” schemes—trapping them into a system designed to bury them forever.

These hapless borrowers, often forced into settlements under relentless pressure from recovery agents, make full payments—with minimal discounts—by exhausting every possible avenue, including borrowing from friends, liquidating assets, or making extreme financial sacrifices. They do so in good faith, hoping to rebuild their financial stability, only to be permanently blacklisted and excluded from the banking system.

But instead of relief, they are permanently marked as criminals in the banking ecosystem—a sentence of lifelong exclusion, economic suffocation, and financial disgrace – Literally an economic death sentence.

This is not justice. This is systemic exploitation.

Our Movement for Justice

We stand to protect the dignity, rights, and future of a Billion Citizens from exploitation, discrimination, and public shaming by Banks, Credit Bureaus, and Financial Institutions.

We demand a fair and ethical financial system—one that Uplifts instead of punishes.
